My Guy QP

Here it is. I don't remember where/when I picked this up, but it was fun!

Quick Page

Talk about quick! This took me about 4 minutes, lol!

I downloaded this page probably 2 years ago and so I have no idea what the source is...

Sort of Monochromatic

It started out as being monochromatic but it really needed some color to "pop" it.

Quick Challenge

I think the only way I'm going to get anything done this week is do a Quick Page. Plus, I've got a few I've been collecting that I'd like to use. What do ya say ladies??

I know, I apparently have no life

Here is my "Bigger is Better." Not so sure about the text box on top of the photo, but when I chose a landscape oriented photo, I limited my space and options.

Challenge: Bigger is Better

*I know, I'm a few hours early. But Spring Break has made my schedule a little more hectic, so I wanted to get this up now.

For this week's digital challenge, take a photo you love and make it BIG! Start your page this week with a photo that fills nearly all of your digital canvas and see how that changes the way you scrap. Here are a few examples:

Redo!!!!

Ugh. I couldn't stand that other layout. It was WAY too busy for my liking. This is better - not a ton better, but better for sure. Kit: Jessica Edwards. Same template, just moved stuff around a lil.

Freestyle/Catch-up week

This is "Freestyle" week, so I was thinking that you can do whatever you want - or do one of the challenges from this past month if you missed one, or do a "Project 12." Just some ideas!

It's Spring Break, starting tomorrow, here in San Antonio... Wish I were there partying it up with y'all ;(

1st Christmas

I am trying to catch up on Layne's baby book, so I thought this event was one that needed documenting! Kit: Jessica Edwards

Monochromatic Pinkalicious

I had a hard time figuring out what event to scrap and which kit to use! I remembered that I had "Pinkalicious" pictures and then pulled out a ton of pink papers and pink elements. !Voila! Tricky at first, but came together fairly easily!

I am loving the different effect you get from extraction!

New Challenge

Oh my gosh, you guys are killing me with all of your amazing layouts!!! And I am feeling very uncreative. The only thing coming to me right now is....

MONOCHROMATIC

....Open to your interpretation.

Inspired...

Here's my Project 12 for February. Same Yin template, kit by Jessica Edwards. Hope you don't mind that I jocked you a little bit, Newey!

Trying to get caught up...

It's my goal to try to get Layne's 1st year somewhat caught up before #4 arrives. I looked back at what I have done and am now trying to fill in the holes. I don't love this layout, but I am task-oriented and am just happy to have this documented and done.

Extraction challenge

Here is my attempt. I had a really hard time at first because I wasn't using the "magic" eraser - I was using the regular eraser. I wasted over an hour and was super frustrated yesterday. But today I realized (Thanks to Nicole) my mistake and I figured it out! Fun times. It was definitely a challenge, but I like end product.

Sir Carson

Well, I can say I am glad to have "learned" this technique. It is going to take me a LOT more practice to feel good about it. Please don't look at this too carefully or you will see all of my boo-boos. It is what it is and that's done...
