Challenge!

I can tell you all are hungry!! Here's our next challenge. Create a layout using this template found HERE (my parent's computer is old school and ridiculously protected...I couldn't even upload the template here, geez!)

Scraplift Challenge

Well, if you hadn't heard, I was having some RAM issues with my computer, so this page didn't turn out how I'd planned. When PS finally let me open a kit, I just went with it and was happy to actually be able to scrap. That being said, I am ending up with a page that I am happy with that looks NOTHING like what I would've done for this set of pictures! So maybe that's good...

Here's my version:
Very simple-looking. I added photo effect to all of the pictures. The kit is "Lil Love Bug" from ggdigital designs, and I think it's free, actually (it has a ton of other cute stuff in it too - I did NOT do it justice).

Extra Credit...

I put this page together with the rest of the pictures from the wedding we went to in December. I used the template that Lana used last week and some free paper from Three Paper Peonies.

Scraplift Challenge

Holy Moley!!! I stumped myself with my own challenge. This was way harder than I thought it would be and I'm not happy with my results. I have a feeling I am going to be monkeying around with this page for some time still...

This should have been easier than it was...

I love all the samples I see on Three Paper Peonies, so I really wanted to copy an idea from that site. This isn't even one of my favorite samples, but somehow I ended up spending hours trying to scraplift this idea. I loved this challenge idea, but I made it way harder than it should have been.

I had to get right on this since I'm leaving town and won't be back until after the deadline! Not quite done though, still need to add journaling. I have no idea where I saw this layout, but it caught my eye and I saved it a while ago. The colors made me think of Costa Rica. Great challenge Nicole!!

"A Day in the Life" Challenge

This week's challenge was really enjoyable. I felt like it really made me "think outside the box." I ended up doing it twice, as the first time when I was just about done, the program closed itself... Definitely learned the lesson of saving as you go! I had some ideas that I think would've made this layout even cuter, but when it came down to it, I threw it all down and here's what I ended up with...

All in a days work...

I'm so done with this layout and my computer would barely let me save it because I'm running out of space! I'm in BIG trouble. So, this didn't turn out exactly how I imagined, but it's kind of the idea. My biggest realization from this challenge...Ellie eats way too much sugar!

New Challenge...

This weeks challenge is to scrapbook "a day in the life of..." Feel free to use the theme however you want just capture some of those everyday moments. Obviously this may require taking some pictures this week, but I think the end result will be fun. I've been dying to do a page of all the funny words Ellie says or quotes from Ashley and Lauren, so that just may be my page this week. Have fun!!!

I grabbed this kit off of "handpicked" the other week, with this page in mind! I wanted to document what a stinker this kid is. I used a template that I picked up a while back... Simple, but I liked how it turned out.

It's my new favorite thing!!! {Select the eyes with the Quick Selection Tool; go to Enhance>Unsharp Mask; then adjust the %}
