I heart Rainbows!

I'm back! It was surprisingly rewarding to finally get a page done. I used the Sugar Shack blog train kit from forever ago and a random template.

Christmas Card

So, after working on my card for two days and a million different designs and papers, I finally caved and ordered a Costco design. This is the picture I used and it's a red damask design. So lame, I know. I'm ashamed of myself, but I have to move on to bigger and better things.

I did do my sisters card though. I think it turned out cute. It's a card from Summertime Designs. The pink gerbera daisy is in memory of their baby Ella.

Meeting Ariel

This challenge was torture for me because we are long overdue for a trip to Disneyland. I still can't convince myself that it would be any fun to take Ellie though.

Template was part of that blog train as well. I spent half a day downloading stuff. It was going so slow!

Spooky Pumpkins

I took a lot of liberty with this template and decided to delete a lot of it. I wanted a simple layout for this picture. Kit is Three Paper Peonies--Boo!

Mini Kit Challenge

This was a really fun challenge! I have to admit though that I totally copied what the girl did with the elements. I know, it's lame, but I was struggling with the leaves and pinecone.

So, I worked on this family picture a little more in picnik. I don't really like the layout, but it will do for now. Paper is from Three Paper Peonies.

Not Loving It....

I only had time for one attempt, so here is what I got. I got the kit today at: http://www.everydaymomideas.com/2010/05/vote-for-next-emi-digital-scrapbooking.html. The kit looked way cuter than what I did with it. She has some cute retro looking kits. I can't wait to try one.

I have been searching for hours for cute back to school paper and...I QUIT! I have to go fold laundry for now! I hope to be back before midnight!

2008

I lucked out on this one because 2008 was the year that Ellie was born. So, I just had to scrap baby pictures of Ellie. I think she's a keeper!

Summer Wedding

I decided to scrap this cute picture of the girls at my brothers wedding. There are more wedding pictures to come, but how could I resist starting with this one. I tried a good ole patchwork quilt with various patterned paper. This could also count for my "no template" challenge. Good times!!

"...Something Blue"

I'm back! It was so hard for me to get back into this! I was definitely rusty, but it was fun! Question: To add a shadow, or not to? What do you guys think? If you shadow one thing, do you have to shadow everything? I've seen both styles and I'm not sure what I like better.
