Oh yeah, NEW CHALLENGE!

Not feeling too creative, but this template looks so fun to me! Let's use it this week. And you can do whatever you want with it.... keep it the same, move the pieces around, etc.

Pumpkin "Brownie"

So I'm late, what else is new? I had a hard time with this, but what a great challenge!! And I did use the pinecone, can you all see it?? ;)

Brownie Challenge Layout

Yin Template and Brownie Scraps Kit (duh!)

Cook-Cook

Fun Challenge! I agree with Alyson - the pinecone was hard. And the staple was funny-shaped to me... But I'm happy with it.

Mini Kit Challenge

This was a really fun challenge! I have to admit though that I totally copied what the girl did with the elements. I know, it's lame, but I was struggling with the leaves and pinecone.

The "Brownie Indulgence" Challenge

Once a month at Brownie Scraps they have a challenge where you download a designated kit (freebie) and you have to create a layout that uses every single item in the kit. I've been wanting to give this challenge a try so I thought we should all do it together. Are you guys in? Here's the link...

Fahionably Late to the Picnik

Ok, I love that fun site! I used it on these photos, very subtley, and added a simple vignette and adjusted lighting, cropped etc. But in putting the pics into the template, much of the vignette got cut off. Regardless, I have some fun ideas for some photos that I want to use those more extreme effects on. You'll for sure be seeing it in later layouts!

Picnik Challenge

I channeled my stress into scrapbooking and I ended up being able to get my layout done. Of course everything else I need to get done is still undone, lol.

Not Lovin' It...

So, I worked on this family picture a little more in picnik. I don't really like the layout, but it will do for now. Paper is from Three Paper Peonies.

Can I Get Half Credit?

I don't know if I am going to get an actual layout done by tonight or not, but I did picnik my picture. I hate to tell you guys this but I have been "picniking" for a lonnng time now. Sorry, I thought it was one of the websites I shared with you all.

Here's the picture I want to scrap (plus a few others from this little excursion):

And here are some of my favorite picnik pics. I'm sure you have seen them already either on my blog or other layouts...

Grizzly River Run

This is NOT my submission for the challenge this week, this is just a page that has needed to get done for quite a while and has been bugging me!! It was painstaking to use only blue and yellow, so I had to throw some reds in there...

Topsy Turvey Picnik

I've combined the 2 challenges ;)

It was fun to see everyone's variation of the Topsy Turvey Template. I ended up turning the 2 photos into those pink diamond shapes, and one of the rectangle shapes into my photo! It was rough-going since I couldn't add any elements!!! (The Photoshop on our laptop wasn't accepting any of my .png files?? Grrrr)

I used picnik's "Orton-ish" effect on my photo, along with some other slight tweaks. Very cool. I've gotta say that effect and "Cross Process" are my faves. What a fun find, thanks Alyson! Here's my before & after...

Photo Editing Challenge

I had a ton of fun editing this picture of Dave and me from my brothers wedding. It was so fun because it was so easy. Normally I would be pulling my hair out trying to use Photoshop to get this look. But, I tried using Picnik and was really happy with the results. So, your challenge for the week is to edit your photo or photos using picnik.com and use the edited pictures in your layout. It's free! I can't wait to see what you think.

Topsy Turvy Challenge

This challenge was a great idea! I really had fun with it. I will definitely be doing this more often.

Topsy Turvy Ragnar

Kit: Sweet Shoppe Designs "Memories"

I had a lot of fun with this challenge!

Topsy Turvy My Way

I really liked this challenge. I had fun arranging and rearranging the template different ways until I had it how I wanted it. I chose to add space for two more photos. I'm thinking I can do this with other templates and get more use out of them.

Papers and elements from various freebie kits. Star Wars stuff from Britt.

Topsy Turvy Template Challenge

Follow the link and the rules listed for my challenge this week. Basically, use the template, rearranging the shapes and adding as you wish, but never deleting any of them. Scroll down to see the gallery for inspiration.

Freestyle: Back2School

I loved this template Alyson, so unique. This layout has been sitting open, half done, on my computer for over 2 weeks! I finally finished it this morning!!! (Actually posting this Oct. 15th) And now I'm going to go work on my Topsy Turvy Template - I'm excited. I will catch up. I will catch up. I will catch up!!

Twins

Alan bought the boys Lego "mystery packs" and I laughed out loud when Carson opened his. I thought it looked just like him.
